Join us for an event.
It’s a happening.
The Nataraj Foundation hosts in-person and online events that invite participants to learn, strengthen, and transform as they move along their personal journey through life. Each gathering emphasizes a direct meditative experience, and practical integration of suggestions from a spiritual master into daily life. Events are welcoming to newcomers and seasoned practitioners alike, with teachings provided based on experience level or posture, breath, and health. Programs are open to the public. Registration is required when space is limited and selection follows objective criteria that are not tied to donations.
Swami Gupta will be joining us live from India
Swami Gupta crosses an ocean to share his wisdom. This is a rare opportunity to interact with a spiritual master. He teaches about Nature, Love and Celebration.
The schedule will be in constant flux as new appointments and events are scheduled.
All events to be hosted online for Spring of 2026.
These will be small, limited-capacity gatherings—advance registration is required to reserve a seat and attend.

Events FAQ
-
Events with Swami Gupta will cover topics that place the responsibility for your life circumstances squarely on your own shoulders. He will not placate you nor offer you approval or certification. He speaks from a place of compassion and love. He shows you where you are. Sometimes it is difficult to hear and hard to make sense of, but if you listen deeply and make the internal shifts then you move beyond the issue. Your willingness to face the challenges will determine your progress.
-
Some events like retreats and small group gatherings are limited-capacity and have fixed program fees per participant to cover fair-market-value logistical costs (meals, lodging, materials, instruction) and are not tax deductible. These fees will be clearly posted under “Event Details” and made known when signing up for an event. Many public events and satsangs are free to attend. The Nataraj Foundation works to ensure the maximum number of participants can benefit by offsetting costs but voluntary donations are always welcome.
-
Some events have limited capacity to preserve meaningful interaction with the teacher. When space is limited, attendance is determined by objective criteria and not contingent on donations. Priority is given to first-time registrants to balance new/returning participants.
-
Yes and thank you for offering. Volunteers have working access and may observe from designated areas while on shift; it isn’t a reserved seat, duties come first, and any open seats are offered to the waitlist in order. Volunteering is simply service and not linked to admission or donations.

We’re grateful for the generosity people feel after meeting Swami Gupta. No word of thanks is too small when offered unconditionally and sincerely. However, the Nataraj Foundation does not solicit, accept, forward, arrange, or facilitate personal gifts, and gifts given directly to Swami Gupta are not tax-deductible. Contributions to the Foundation are used at the Foundation’s independent discretion and can’t be directed to any individual. If a student or donor chooses to offer personal gifts, they are outside the Foundation’s work.
To respect privacy and keep access fair, we do not share personal contact details or route private messages. If you wish to speak with Swami Gupta or any other teacher, please do so directly at a public Foundation event; upcoming dates and times are listed on the Events Schedule.

It’s ok. Often questions arise from questions asked by others. Satsang’s often have a theme or topic to help you identify questions but you are also free to ask a question about any topic that interests you at any time. The questions that will help you the most are the ones that are a deep personal or spiritual challenge that is hindering you. All of us are facing similar challenges regarding relationships, anger, fear, illness, etc. as we make our journey. Questions about abstract philosophy and purely theoretical discussions are typically less valuable than those arising from lived experience.

If you have an idea for a public or private event please contact us to share your idea. The Foundation sponsors and administers approved programs under our policies.

Swami Gupta speaks English fluently but sometimes accent and inflection can be difficult to understand, or he may not follow American slang. Speak your questions clearly and slowing. Keep asking for clarification if a response is unclear. Keep showing up. Keep listening. Sometimes his answers don’t make sense at first, but do so after you invest in some contemplative effort and reflection.

This is not a religion. It’s a different kind of school. We’re not a fan of rituals. Today’s student is tomorrow’s master. What is required is for one to look deep inside oneself, to develop awareness of your own internal state and to walk your own internal journey. Swami Gupta is a teacher covering subjects like nature, love and celebration. He lives in celebration and connection with existence itself, God. He asks us to see where we really are and not where we ‘think or project’ we are. He shares his wisdom and wishes you the best on your life’s journey.

Some of our programs are for adults only. Others private events do allow minors over the age of 13 if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Large public satsangs are open to all ages. Refer to “Event Details” to see if there are any restrictions on registration for a particular event.

Human Unity and the Inner Divine
[Online Satsang] : Sunday Jan. 18 @ 9:00am EST
With MLK Day near, join us for a satsang with Swami Gupta where we reflect on human unity. This is a reality when we see that no one is superior or inferior, and we belong to one family as children of God. Outwardly, people differ in ability, temperament, power, and circumstance; inwardly, the core is the same divine life. This is easy as an idea and harder as a lived reality. We often sort, rank, defend identities and engage in external conflicts in a rather divided and fragmented fashion; yet many contemplative traditions insist the deepest self is shared as one consciousness wearing many faces. This satsang treats human unity not as a slogan, but as a practice: how to honor the same inner dignity in everyone while staying clear-eyed about behavior, boundaries, and responsibility. The guiding questions are:
“Where should one draw the boundary between compassion and enabling the bad behavior of others?”
“How do I honor the same inner divinity in everyone without becoming naïve or allowing myself to be abused?”
Cancelled.
Truth, Love, and Celebration
[Online Satsang] : Sunday Feb. 1 @ 9:00am EST

Love and Truth
[Online Satsang] : Sunday Feb. 15 @ 9:00am EST
Join us for a satsang with Swami Gupta exploring the importance of love and truth on the spiritual journey. The starting question is:
“How can I maintain love and devotion while also maintaining boundaries to ensure my empathy is not taken for granted?”

Celebration, Forgiveness, and Truth
[Online Satsang] : Monday Mar. 2 @ 8:30pm EST
Join us for a satsang with Swami Gupta exploring celebration, forgiveness and their role in genuine purification of the mind in our search for truth. Some guiding questions are:
How can one truly forgive and forget and how should the spiritual seeker think about forgiveness?
How can I become less serious about myself or others in order to celebrate my life more?
How will Celebration and Forgiveness help me find Truth?
Registration is closed.
Truth.
[Online Satsang] : Friday Mar. 20 @ 9:00pm EDT

It’s important to share and take part in the wisdom that Swami Gupta offers. He loves to engage in question and answer sessions, especially those that involve honesty and sincerity regarding your own life’s hindrances in relation to your friends, family, and community. His approach may seem unconventional, but if you won’t face and accept your challenges, how can you dissolve them?
